An independent Christian magazine

Liberty Foundation is a born-again, evangelical-in-conviction magazine for the reader who plans to stay in the church for the next forty years.

Liberty Foundation is independent. We are not affiliated with a denomination, a parachurch organization, or a particular congregation. The editorial team is drawn from across the evangelical spectrum — Baptist, Reformed, Pentecostal, non-denominational — and we publish under a shared commitment to biblical authority, the historic creeds, and the long, patient work of the church.

What we publish

Five departments. News covers the state of the church — revival, controversy, sound theological reporting. Faith publishes devotional writing on the long discipleship. Mission covers global and local gospel work and the partnership relationships that make either possible. Family treats the household as the smallest visible church. Worship attends to songs, liturgy, and congregational singing.

Editorial convictions

Three things shape what we do. First, we publish slowly. Quick takes belong on social media. Second, we name sources. Pastors, missionaries, scholars — we identify them where possible, anonymize them where we must, and credit them in all cases. Third, we don’t accept advertising. The magazine is reader-funded.
